$100+ Per Visit Paid Same Day For COVID-19 Vaccine Trials
How Much Can I Expect To Be Paid?
Multiple vaccines have already rolled out but they still need a million people to volunteer to be part of a comprehensive 2-year study. If you decide to participate, you will receive compensation for each of the appointments and follow up phone calls you make over the course of two years.
On average you should expect a $100 minimum per visit the same day, not including the initial virtual interview where you are evaluated prior to being accepted to join the study. The total compensation you can achieve varies between providers and if you fall under a demographic requiring more data. On the low end, it is capped at $500 all the way up to $2000!
How Safe Is The Vaccine?
As mentioned above, these vaccines have already received FDA approval and are being distributed to the population however the researchers still need roughly a million volunteers to participate in formal studies.
Who Is Eligible To Participate?
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, relatively healthy, are not planning to become pregnant (in case it isn’t obvious they just expect you to use protection or birth control), have not received the flu shot or any other vaccine in the past year, have not already contracted COVID-19, and sober.
What Will I Be Asked to Do?
In general, after you complete an online application you will be contacted by phone to schedule a virtual interview. Then, after you are evaluated and approved to join the trial you will schedule an in-person appointment where they will take baseline data for how you are via urine and blood samples. Once They take their samples you will be given the vaccine and $100+ in cash before you exit the building. You will then be asked to follow up with your symptoms if you have any and maintain a log of everything over the course of the two year long study.
You’ll have to go back in person again for more blood and urine samples and just as you did before, you will receive $100+ before you leave. The third time you go back will be to receive your second shot (depending on the trial you join) and you guessed it – $100+ yet again followed by another appointment for samples where you will also get paid $100+ for returning.
Over the course of the next two years, they make a call to ask you some questions which you will be paid by check or prepaid debit card when not required to travel to the facility.
